Located
on a hilltop just under two miles from the village at the end of a country
road.
A colonial farmhouse - fully restored - one of the oldest dwellings in
Grafton - circa 1790 - furnished in antiques with accommodations for 28
guests.
Established by Frank and Anne Gabriel in 1968, the Inn caters to those
who enjoy the peace and quiet of rural New England. You will enjoy
strolling through country lanes, fields and woodlands - all located on the
200 acres surrounding the farm.
Behind the barn is a large pond surrounded by rolling lawns which are
ideal for sunning with a platform dock located in the swimming area and a
gazebo for reading or just quiet contemplation. Hidden in the pines is the
wood fired sauna/steam room. Perfect for winding down and getting in sync
with the Inn's relaxed, easy pace.
Join us at The Inn at Woodchuck Hill Farm. Enjoy fully the benefits of
staying at an Inn that is unique and characterizes the epitome of great
service in rural Vermont. Your stay will be an adventure of your choosing;
quiet, contemplative or active and physical. Historic Grafton Village
offers miles of groomed trails for walking, hiking or mountain biking,
tennis courts and bike rentals. During the winter, sledding, ice skating,
snow shoeing and cross country skiing is available.
